Beth Cox - Administrative Associate

Beth Cox joined EQUIP as a part-time Administrative Associate in June 2024. Her primary areas of focus include donor care, communications and social media, and supporting the operational needs of EQUIP.

Beth brings a diverse background in education, government, and nonprofit service. Her previous work experience includes serving as a substitute teacher with the Steilacoom School District, Executive Assistant to the Speaker of the Mississippi State House, and, in a volunteer leadership capacity as Vice President of Family Programs for the Association of the Army at Fort Lewis, where she supports military families.

Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi.

Beth and her husband, Jamaal, live in DuPont, WA, with their two school-aged sons, Cam and Eli. Jamaal serves as a pastor at New Salem Church and as an Army Reserve Chaplain.
