Rob DeKlotz joined EQUIP as part-time Executive Director in August 2020. His primary areas of focus include executive leadership, strategic planning, operational effectiveness, and partnership development.

An organizational leader with more than 40 years of executive and ministry leadership experience, Rob brings a proven track record of guiding churches, ministries, and organizations through seasons of growth, complexity, and change.

Rob grew up in Orange County, CA, and began his ministry career with CRU in campus ministry. He then spent 21 years on executive leadership teams at Mariners Church, Saddleback Church, and South Shores Church, all in Orange County. In subsequent roles, Rob served as COO of Operation Snap Dragon and ED of Soul Shepherding. In 2020, he launched Kingdom Initiatives, a consulting and coaching endeavor focused on helping churches, ministries, and for-profit organizations operate at peak effectiveness in their unique kingdom calling.

Rob is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned a BA in history, and he holds a Master of Divinity from Talbot School of Theology.

Rob and his wife, Jennifer, live in Irvine, CA. They have four adult children, four spouses-in-love, and five grandchildren.
